Kaabah footage (Mecca)

This is the holiest trip a Muslim can make in their lifetime. It is the trip to Mecca. They are expected to make the pilgrimage once in their life. My friends have made it and said it was the greatest thing they could have ever done.Mecca is a very holy place. They pray at the holy place of Mohammed . And in the five times that Muslims pray, they face to the East to point to Mecca.

Right now is the second day of Ramadan this is when most Muslims try to go to their pilgrimage to Mecca.

You are only allowed to go counter clockwise of the building. This is to remove their sins.

    • I'm a little confused how this qualifies for news. Although, after watching my local news last night I realized that very little is real news these days. Current, I thought you were better!

    • Ouch- I winced a bit when I read this. You are a bit off. Please correct the following statement: "They pray to Muhammad". Muslims pray to God ONLY ("Allah" in Arabic), so please change that part. I don't mean to overreact, but if something gets repeated enough times people start to believe it, and this is one of those misconceptions about Islam that people have. Thanks for putting up this video though.

As I corrected that they go to a holy place not to Mohammed. they pray to Allah not Mohammed sorry. My husband is trying to remember what the rules are. He is from iran but he his not Muslim. Mohammed is just a messenger just like Jesus, they beleive in Jesus to.

No worries, I've read some comments you've made regarding Islam and you seem to be of the more reasonable and open-minded people on here. There are some bigots on this site who are misinformed and I wanted to make sure they didn't read this and start repeating it as another "fact" about Islam.
