The Sierra Club, represented by Earthjustice, has recently renewed its efforts to block the controversial expansion of the Holcomb coal-fired power plant in southeastern Kansas, this time by seeking a preliminary injunction against the U.S. Rural Utilities Services (RUS), which is helping to finance the project.
