Up to 90,000 Americans could die from the swine flu this fall and winter, the CDC warns.

I have yet to hear any facts about H1N1. You have to dig around to get actual numbers rather than "possibly KILL 90,000 Americans, nearly twice as much as regular seasonal flu", strange trend, "so even if you live off campus in some lil apartment you think you're safe... Dun dun dun duuuuuunnnnnn..." I think its all b.s.
http://www.ama-assn.org/amednews/2009/05/18/prl20518.htm "Seasonal Flu kills 36k+ in a season in America alone according to American Medical New [amednews.com May 18, 2009]
[The whole thing seems based on a possible "outbreak" that "could" mirror regualr seasonal flu's annual "outbreak". But how many "flu seasons" have we had swine flu go without any outbreaks? More than a couple.......]
The WHO still hasn't reported any wide scale deaths [deaths exceeding seasonal flu] in a isolated area, which in my opinion would define an outbreak [but I just have a brain] I do not know how they define an "outbreak" as they haven't defined an "outbreak"! They have described "potentials", "Maybes", "What-Ifs", "Possiblys", "may very wells" and a bunch of other things that equate to religious-like-rhetoric rather than scientific explinations. And the American Media has yet to address the "Swine-Flu outbreak" in 1976 in which it is believed that the vaccine did more damage than the virus.....

Why isn't anyone noting that the report also stated, "the 2009-H1N1 virus does not thus far seem to show the virulence associated with the devastating pandemic of 1918-19; moreover, medical science now has many potent tools at our disposal to mitigate an influenza pandemic in ways that were not possible ninety years ago."?

Or that the death rate, per WHO's calculations, is less than 1%, and that assumes that every single person who was infected is diagnosed; in reality, many people are most likely staying home and having chicken noodle soup.

Look, here is scientific data demonstrating that death is not the major concern in Europe. The only real science, or survey, that deals with the actual effects of H1N1 and its about missing work and how it hurts business. It is not about businesses suffering employee deaths as a result of contamination. NOTE!!!!! 420 organisations in Europe have been contaminated by the virus but none feel the need to close for quarantine?
While the CDC video claims that- H1N1 studies
'suggest' that it [H1N1] seems to spreads more in close contact spaces, like mutltiple animals sharing a cage [or multiple people share a work space.] But that doesn't seem to be the way 420 organisation in Europe feel. And it doesn't appear to motivate the European Union to enforce quaratines on the organisations with confirmed cases.....Critical thinking or conspiracy theory crap?
