Message for Facebook: Golan residents live in Israel, not Syria.

Although the Golan falls under Israeli law, residents of the region wishing to write "Israel" in the Hometown section of their profiles are not give the option.

For example, if someone from Qazrin fills in the Hometown space, the only option will be "Qazrin, Syria." The same is true for all of the other Jewish towns, including Ramat Magshimim, Geshur, Mevo Hanna, and Had Nes.

It is not for Facebook to decide the national origin of Golan residents. At the very least, Facebook must include the option of writing "Israel" in the hometown section, as it has done with Jewish residents of the West Bank.

    • Freecrack is right on!
These haters don't even know how to spell the word, "LOVE."
I do remember though that one time I actually saw and read something that Highroller wrote had no hate in it at all. I was shocked, and I even wondered if someone had used Highroller's password.
However the professional haters at "world PEACE tv"
have NEVER written anything about Christians who were murdered by the heroes of worldPEACEtv. They never write about the slaughtered Buddhists who were massacred by the shahids of worldPEACEtv and they never write about the Hindus who are killed by the great religious heroes of Islam who know that ala told mohamed that mohamed should tell the people that ala said that they should kill and hate and rape people who don't want to be Muslim.
Nope, I guess that worldPEACEtv is only concerned about a few dead Palestinians. Got that? Only Palestinians who are killed. All other people who are murdered by fundamentalist Muslims are not important because ala only knows how to make Palestinians, so only they are important, and ala's other creations just don't matter.
Go ahead, look in the old posts the Palestinians at worldPEACEtv and try to find one place where they used the word, "LOVE."
Ladies and gentlemen, they don't even know what it is.

    • its personal when people like world peace tv and highroller ONLY post anti jew posts. it would be a whole other situation if they cited both sides offenses in the israeli palastinian conflict but they do not, only israel does wrong in thier world.
the golan hieghts is NOT a disputed territory it was captured when all the arab countries attacked (unprovoked mind you) israel. if they are so concerned about maintaining land maybe they shouldnt have waged war leaving thier territories subject to conquering. no backsies thats the way war goes, dont wage it if you cant live with the consiquences

    • I was never for fences or borders until I met a very charitable native woman in Africa who had been robbed in her own home at gunpoint three times. Then, the African concrete fences with broken glass bottles in the mortar started to make perfect sense. The last time they were robbed, her husband had to shoot a guy. They were Christians and that was really hard for them. Better fences make better neighbors. And less dead criminals.

    • Back on subject...Borders only make people hate-we are all on this planet together, we should realise we are all human. Those borders are only for the ones that think they have power and control. Fact is, we have the control of our own lives.

    • what is this a little personal war?

anywho, highroller happens to be right. the jews were given territory within the nation of palestine to make isreal. of course, people were already living there and they had to go. do you really think that's legit? maybe that's the way it happened and that's the way it always happened (see american indians) but that doesn't make it kosher.

as far as i know the golan heights are considered occupied territory and still part of syria. i think zionist jews have trouble understanding international law, but more realistically i suspect they just don't care because they know the west will never bring them to heel on the matter.

which is why i pretty much say fuck israel, if it disappeared tomorrow the world would be better for it.

As for your group, doesn't seem like I would want to touch that with a ten foot pole. Israel is smaller than New Jersey dude, 50 miles wide at some points. Pretty silly to lament their great expansion when Los Angeles has 2x more people and about 1/2 as many Jews as Israel. None of the Mexicans who owned this place are bombing us! Islam, however, has expanded to most of the UN, 22 + huge major countries in the ME with 30 times the people in Israel at least, and very restrictive and racist laws throughout. Care to discuss that expansion? Or is that too fair?

    • The cork is out and here come the usual eight comments in a row. So, let's click past them quickly and get on to new comments we don't know by heart.
He makes so easy to just breeze past because he shoots them out one after the other.
Poor Holyroller, he actually thinks people read what he copies.

    • He's back. Here it comes. And guess what? He found another Jewish Uncle Tom besides Rohm the Licker Emanuel!
      OMG!
What is this world coming to?
Do you all realize what this means?
Holyroller is actually quoting a Jew!

    • And that last comment sounds like "some of your best friends are Jewish", doesn't mean they are not kappos. Many Jews have gone against their people before. It doesn't mean because they are Jewish that they have credibility. As for the intimidating Arab population at schools like Oxford, how else is the guy going to survive there?
Jews are moving to Israel in droves right now because of anti-Semitism in England. Maybe if people like the Israel haters on current or facebook stopped discriminating against Jewish people who want their own right to self determination like all of the Arab States have, they wouldn't want to move there in the first place. Just recently, 300 Jews left Yemen for Israel due to a Shiite rebellion that created attacks on the population, even after they moved within Yemen for safety.

    • With or without Facebook, the truth about the entire area and expecially its origin is important to know.

Um guys, just in case anyone forgot, the Great Ottoman Empire contained all the land of the Middle East. When they broke it up, they indirectly created Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and few other countries. Later, the U.N. decided to throw a bone at the Jews and they called it Israel. But the Arabs didn't like that idea because they only have 22 Arab Muslim countries, so they needed to get the 23rd Arab Muslim country, so they started bombing the Jews (woops, I mean the Apartheid Zionists) for 19 years until Israel took the land they were trying to destroy Israel from.
So, Facebook is a tiny bit of sawdust next to the mountain of truth.
