MoveOn.org is supposedly keeping the DNC honest. (HAHAHA!) Let's keep MoveOn.org honest.
Ever the wimps, and always taking their marching orders from the DNC, their photo petition is in support of the public option, which leaves insurance companies in charge, mandates that we all buy insurance plans from the private sector even if we can't afford one, and still has us paying premiums, co-pays, and deductibles.
Let's use their photo petition for SINGLE PAYER.
Here's the photo that I submit: image
So here's the plan: Make a photo supporting Single Payer, submit it to their photo petition, [see link] and then contact all the people on your lists, and ask them to do the same.
PS: You can totally use MoveOn.org's sign that they have available for you to print out. Just be sure to mention single payer.

It is beyond ridiculous to go on fostering a system of health care for profit that deprives Americans of real care. The recent up to 59% increases in premiums are only start. Replace this inhumane non health care system with a Single Payer system to make a healthy and more productive country. Most of the major industrialized countries we compete with have national health plans. Vermont and California might be intitiating SP plans with our work and insistence. Put health back into health care! Support Single Payer. We all deserve it! Write to your representatives now.

The Public Option would give you a choice of private insurance companies. The ones that have been screwing us for years and maybe some government plan. They intend to mandate coverage. It is in my opinion a really bad joke.
Single payer for all is a better idea.
HR 676 would institute a single payer health care system by expanding a
greatly improved Medicare system to everyone residing in the U. S.HR 676 would cover every person for all necessary medical care including
prescription drugs, hospital, surgical, outpatient services, primary and
preventive care, emergency services, dental, mental health, home health,
physical therapy, rehabilitation (including for substance abuse), vision
care, hearing services including hearing aids, chiropractic, durable
medical equipment, palliative care, and long term care.HR 676 ends deductibles and co-payments. HR 676 would save hundreds of
billions annually by eliminating the high overhead and profits of the
private health insurance industry and HMOs.In the current Congress, HR 676 has 86 co-sponsors in addition to Conyers.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has introduced SB 703, a single payer bill
in the Senate.HR 676 has been endorsed by 558 union organizations in 49 states including
130 Central Labor Councils and Area Labor Federations and 39 state
AFL-CIO's (KY, PA, CT, OH, DE, ND, WA, SC, WY, VT, FL, WI, WV, SD, NC, MO,
MN, ME, AR, MD-DC, TX, IA, AZ, TN, OR, GA, OK, KS, CO, IN, AL, CA, AK, MI,

This man doesn't know what he's talking about. Move On is a promoter of liberal Democratic ideals and doesn't pretend it isn't. His explanation of the public option is not the truth. More Republican lies and misinformation.

Republican? Are you batty?
Also I didn't say that MoveOn pretended that it isn't a promoter of liberal ideas-- it actually ISN'T a promoter of liberal ideals. It's a wimpy centrist organization, which has had strong ties to the DLC (the right wing of te DNC) since the Clinton era.
Also, I'm going to guess you haven't actually read any of HR 3200.
It mandates that we buy plans, and the public option is not medicare, it's a medicare-lite that you have to purchase into, with premiums, co-pays and deductibles.
The best plan out there is Medicare for All, no co-pays, no deductibles, no premiums, everybody is covered, nobody excluded.
This is proposed in the bill HR 676, which I don't know if you've heard of it or not, but it was endorsed by the Green Party, Ralph Nader, John Conyers, Henry Waxman, Chellie Pingree, Dennis Kucinich, Marcy Kaptur, Stephanie Tubbs-Jones, Elijah Cummings, etc
It's the furthest thing from "Republican lies and misinformation."
Do your research before spouting off and accusing people of lying.

Where did Move On go? Are we still in Iraq? Afghanistan? Did Obama end the wars?

I'll give that a try. Move On is about to lose any relevance they ever had with their wimpy attitude.

The key thing is though, you can't just do the photo petition and then sit down and have a cup of tea.
You have to spread the word after you do it, post your photos all over the social networking platforms you use with notes alerting people you know to this action.
