    • Hey I live in south Texas and I am seeing lakes dry up that have never dried up before. so things are getting tough all over. The best thing I can tell ya is to get ready for the worst and hope for the best.

    • China's population is hardly "out of control". It's population is large simply due to the twofold fact that 1) China is a large country, and 2) China started out with a lot of people.

China's population density isn't that high; it's lower than the likes of North Korea, Italy, Pakistan, Germany, the UK, Vietnam, Israel, Japan, Belgium, India, South Korea, Taiwan, and *especially* Bangladesh.

In terms of birth rate, China ranks 136. By comparison, the US ranks 139.

This *is*, however, a classic case of why China values Tibet so much - water.

    • Is it a drought? Or is Chinas population so out of control that they cannot get enough food from even a good harvest?

    • Thanks for featuring this, since I know anything I post about drought anywhere in this world will be summarlly ignored here in News. Oh, and again it would be nice if this were translated so we could understand the report.
