As a St. Louisan, I'd like to jump on the Kansas City hate bus (same state... you'd be surprised how many people don't know the bulk of it is on the MO side).

I know, right? Well put. One's first thought is refried beans, cheese, tortillas, fried foods. But, as I understand it, authentic Mexican food is generally pretty nutritious. It's the fast food lifestyle that's doing all the damage, mixed with the desk job. Folks just have to go the extra mile, buy quality foods and prepare meals themselves. It's really the only way to know, and control, what you're eating.

pandaman coca cola is not bad for you if you don't drink 4 or 5 containers of it per day, or 150oz a day like the people have a problem with it. That qualifies as substance abuse. I'm sure that I drank that many cafe mochas per day I'd get fat too.

If you read the article, you understand that he's working to change the situation.
