Labor Day weekend travel numbers drop for 2009

Labor Day holiday travel numbers are off from all time high numbers from 2008. Two factors take a bite out of this years numbers, back to school and the unemployment rate.

    • Pretty easy if you read the article the numbers are provided by triple A and IHS. There are links to their respective websites.

Also I did this at 6am, it took the Las Vegas TV NEWS until 6pm to come out with the same numbers from the same sources.

I think they may have read my story too.

Doing projections is a science, by Friday night the hotels had already confirmed the projections based upon their occupancy.

I merely reported the numbers from the agency, I made no predictions.

      Excellent question though, thanks. Jay

    • The economy in ruins, when will the jobs come back. That is the real problem with the economy not enough money being paid to the workers. Tariffs can and will help bring us back from the brink, and bring back jobs necessary for any recovery. We have been being rapped for thirty years by Reagan nomics.
