Israeli Soldiers Shoot and Kill child at nearly point blank range

I guess if she was holding a white flag, they would have shot her from long range. This is totally f*ckin unacceptable..AGAIN! How dare Israel kill children? How dare they kill innocent people?

On Friday afternoon, 4 September 2009, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed a 14-year-old child, Ghazi al-Za’anin, in Beit Hanoun town in the northern Gaza Strip. IOF troops shot the child from close range, while he was walking with his family. This child was the second to be killed by IOF in less than a week.

Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) investigations, and eye-witness testimony, indicates that, at approximately 13:40 on Friday, 4 September 2009, Maher Ghazi al-Za’anin drove his four children, including Ghazi, 14, to their farm, 500 meters away from the border with Israel, in the northeast of Beit Hanoun town. Before arriving at the farm, al-Za’anin and his children stepped down from the car and approached their land on foot. On their way to the farm, they were surprised by an Israeli military jeep that stopped opposite to them. Al-Za’anin and his children were frightened, and ran away. IOF soldiers who were inside the jeep immediately opened fire. Ghazi was wounded by a bullet to the head and fell to the ground. The father carried the child to their car, whereupon IOF soldiers fired at the car, hitting it with two bullets. The father drove to Beit Hanoun Hospital and the child was transferred to al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City as he was in a critical condition. Ghazi was admitted to the intensive care unit, where he was pronounced dead on the following morning, Saturday, 5 September 2009.

    • Be mad, but don't worry-more and more people in the world wake up to what Israel REALLY is. We keep on posting the reported truth and even one person each day that 'wakes up' equals millions a month later. Even the mainstream media is 'waking up' to the atrocities and arrogance of the Israeli leaders. It will be in the near future that Israel leaders are synonymous with other tyrants in history.
      We know that, and each day more of the world knows that.
      Israel use to rely on the world forgetting about its terrorist activities, attributing those activities as defense, when in fact, it was Israel that precipitated the reactions from those they were murdering, raping, stealing from and blowing up. And, at the same time crying about what happened to them, never letting anyone forget.

      Now, we wont forget about what Israel is doing to innocent people. We wont let down the innocent babies and people.

    • As of late current has been censoring some of us here who speak out against Israel. I am actually ashamed of the fact that they have bullied me into watching what I say and do here on current when it comes to the stories I post and the responses I give in regards to this evil government. Even as I type this now I really think and try to choose my words wisely so as not to piss of the people at current. I am 1 letter away from getting the suspension. Highr0ller is gone for good. She has been banned by the powers that be for speaking her mind. She will be missed. Her insight and knowledge of the issues were probably better than anyones elses here. I wonder if the powers that be here at current will read this story. I wonder if they will be able to sleep at night knowing they shut down a person and banned them from current because they speak their mind when it comes to this type of behaviour? Does current condone this behaviour? One would have to think it because they certainly do everything in their power to make it all but impossible to post stories concerning the government of israel. When they banned highr0ller they removed over 250 stories of hers. They eliminated the stories about the evils that are the israeli government. Someone, went through them and decided that they were "offensive" is what I would figure. What is really offensive is their lack of concern for the people that are killed and the children that are killed by the israeli government. What is a concern of mine is why are they bowing down to israel all of a sudden. Why in the last 3 or 4 months has current been getting down on people who post the truth? What has changed? Ask yourselves that question, then see if you came up with the same answer as I did.

      I did my best to word this so it will not be offensive to the people at current. I hope I did a good enough job. I'd hate to get banned or suspended for speaking the truth.

      I know that she/he was banned, I had heard that, but her/his stories are still on current. I just searched for them and found them. The profile is still active, and there are posts as recent as 5 days ago.

      Dude man. I am not going to argue this with you. She had 3 yellow bars. She was up to over 700 stories submitted. Maybe you should know what you are talking about before you speak. I know HER. I talk to her offline. We are friends. I KNOW how many stories she had up.

    • I am soooooo fucking tired of this shit,I just got home from Iran where I voluteered to work with the Kurds, I see the burns and scars of the Iran-Iraq america war where we I am sorry to say gave the Iraqis the leathal chemicals to kill these people. WTFF is going on this is sick how can anyone just get up and shoot sombody see them bleed to death and not give a FUCK. DAMM THEM!

    • lets see what the IDC (israeli damage control) says about this....I'd imagine nothing but heartless, inhumane hate talk twisting the story around, changing the subject in order to take away from the real story.
