    • Yeah, these laws are clearly outdated and obsolete.

      It's illegal because of industrial espionage. It has nothing to do with people getting high. Hemp (the male Cannabis) has proven time and time again that it can do what a ton of other plants (and chemically enhanced materials) cannot... That includes replenishing soil of nutrients.

      Please, US Government. Listen to your people. Let us grow whatever plants we want.

      Legalize the right to harvest and grow whichever plants we chose!

    • While first tackling the issue of widening the use of marijuana in medical treatment, I hope it will eventually lead to acceptance of its use as a recreational substance. As countless articles, essays and statistics point out, the victimless crime of recreation drug use puts an incredibly unnecessary burden on our prison systems and hardens the socioeconomic divide in this country.

      I believe that an increased acceptance of its medical purposes would certainly lead to a road of full legalization and proper regulation. I really hope Obama will take us there.
