At least one part of the economy is being stimulated. The government can't seem to do it, but the private sector sure knows how.

While it is interesting, I just don't think its earth shaking news. You can analyse the sociological implications a number of ways,.....but "oh my god-PANIC" isn't really a method or a hypothesis, but more of a knee jerk political motor reflex.

What was with the questioning of what if these products are used wrongly? Well hell stop selling cars someone might misuse them. Then please remove all things flammable someone might become an arsonist. Please remove all computers past the 486 as they might be used to commit crimes. Do alcohol or knife manufacturers get grilled this hard? Maybe they should interrogate some tazer manufacturers about their products.
