"You Lie" Congressman Wilson Paid $250K by Health Care Industry!

Obama Speech (YOU LIE) Congressman Heckler PAID $250,000 by health care industry.

Here is the source: Joe Wilson Campaign and Finance moneys

The rampant cronyism and rascalism surrounding the health care debate has grown into a festering pile of injustice and unethical behavior.

The rich insurance companies and health care providers are STRONGLY against any public option or ANY health care reform which will "rock their boat" and take away their precious millions in bonuses.
Millions of dollars which have been unethically stolen from the average US citizen.

They will buy greedy and corrupt politicians like US Congressional Rep. Addison Graves “Joe” Wilson a Republican from South Carolina.
His website: joewilson.house.gov

Its all a big scam and these rich bastards will do anything to slow or stop this WELL OVERDUE reform of a disgusting healthcare system.

Healthcare is a STAPLE OF HUMANITY! Everyone needs it. Why would we do anything but have a broad "everyone gets covered" system? It just doesn’t make sense to me.

    • Fourfingeraz; you too need a refresher course in civility and politics. Who are you hoping will fix the system? For about 40 years during the democratic years we have heard continously of the Social Security going broke while the democrats have constantly robbed the SS and put the moneys in the slush fund. And health care has been on the list also. As long as there is a congress and senate they will rob everything to keep the people stupid and in pain and under strict control. It doesn't matter if it a democratic or republican administration, politics are crooked and corrupt. We need people in office who has the qualifications for what ever position is available whether iit is economy, finances, bookkeepers etc. We also need a non political president and VP and attorney generals who are hired on the basis of qualification and not political standing. All ambitious people are corrupt that is human deficiency. But public servants could be controlled by the people if Washington were subject to the same civil law as we the people. If this were the case now we the people could have stopped the war in Iraq, Impeached Bush et al, and indicted Bush for war crimes. When politicians who look out after each other there can be no justice. Therre should be no CIA to provoke nations. There should be no IMF to keep nations indebted to the USA, The list goes on and on. We could be a pretty nice people to know if we had a sense of decency and we could rein in our ambitious imperical leaders.

They will not Stop till there are 2 classes.......The 1% RICH and the POOR.

    • So they paid him to apologize, too?

This story is bullcrap and you lowlife liberals know it.

Stealing three trillion dollars from the middle class by obama is a hell of a lot more offensive.

    • So, I would just like to make sure the facts are clear here. Joe Wilson has received contributions totaling $244,196 in his ENTIRE CARREER from the Health Industry. This was not a quid pro quo case of paying someone to yell out in Congress.

I am not fan of Joe Wilson, but this story is an out and out lie. Lies do not help make the case, they are lies.

For the record Nancy Pelosi received $104,000 JUST last year from the Health Industry.

    • I'm not fond of this man but I have to ask:

Is this more or less than average for legislators of his rank and seniority. The health care industry throws money around literally everywhere, as do most large business groups.

it is possible this charge could be equally leveled at any member. 250k career actually sounds fairly low to me.

    • Technically, Obama did lie. How does he know that illegals aren't covered? What plan is he referring to? Oh, wait. He doesn't have one. Hes still spewing rhetoric without any healthcare reform plan to speak of, just to appease his followers. Such fabricated speeches with no substance behind them. When will it stop?

    • Why is it so different when it happens to Obama? Bush was booed during a State of the Union address a few years ago. Liberals are goofy. Such hypocrites.

      Hey macfan...

Please prove to me where there is no coverage for illegals in Obama's health care plan. I wish you luck because Obama doesn't even have a plan. When will you Obamanites get it? He's saying all the things you want to hear so you'll follow along like good little sheeple. It's sad to know his words are being believed as the bottom line truth.

    • Congressmen and Senators over the years have created their own garden of Eden or paradise if you will right there in Washington. They have their own laws and rules and don't you citizens try to step in it. Just like Joe (Parasite) Wilson who heckled the president. Now Keith Olberman thinks this is terrible to defile the office of president, But then Olberman is a sports fanatic like so many others. Limbaugh is also a sports extremist. But when it comes to defiling the office of the president, wel, I think the American people who have permitted the Clintons to defile it and of course they sent the holiest of sinners in George W Bush to defile the office. As long as the people permit the corrupt state of affairs in Washington, there can be nothing sacred. When presidents use the office to declare illegal wars. Harry Truman declares the korean conflict as a police up, but there were thousands of kids died in his police up. People thought the blind SOB was a good president. Why is it Entertainers make it big after leaving jail or prison and politicians can be totally corrupt and the public idolizes them. One would think that the Iraq war is illegal but too many people think that the office of the president can do no wrong, even though it is wrong. Its a stupid way of looking at something that was supposed to be as godlike as heaven, what a deception to grow up and find Priests and politicians who should be spotless have a closet full of abuses to hide. Like the Federal Reserve Bank doesn't want to be audited fearing the auditors will discover their colossal abuses and crimes against humanity. Look for and seek the reality and truth of life, religion and politics. Its not what you think it is. Its a stage and a theater of a depraved humanity.

    • The title is a bit misleading however. He has recieved 244,196 dollars from pharmaceutical, insurance companies and hospitals over the course of his career, and not from the outburst. However, the basic idea that the outburst was economically motivated and that congress is run by either rich donors and lobbyists, I completely agree with.

    • they shouldn't get paid more, they should be funded strictly publicly. For two dollars person you could have six hundred million dollars to fund a campaign. These funds should be split between the for-running parties which could include the top four parties from the previous election, but also includes some sort of mechanism for allowing new parties. Person gathering so many signatures could be involved in a debate. Viewers would then vote on which two non-mainstream parties they want in the federal elections.
Then half the federal funds (1$ per person could be split evenly among the candidates and half according to how persons voted the prior year)... Individual donars and corporations should not be able to buy our democracy, which essentially ensures that is represented by the rich.
Similarly Senators, and Congressman, mayors, etc could run their elections this way. Public airwaves should be responsible to carry debates again where questions are posed by the viewers and equal time is given to candidates.
For around ten dollars a person, you could take much of the influence of money out of politics, and we might move towards a real democracy.

    • *sigh* There is a real argument that could be made to pay our members of congress more money. I hate to say it, but maybe if they had more money they wouldn't be as vulnerable to greenbacks....

Or maybe they wouldn't care and would just take the 250K anyway.
