He added that the production of wasted food also squanders resources, and said that the irrigation water used by farmers to grow wasted food would be enough for the equivalent domestic water needs of 9bn people"

Some food is so poorly made , it is waisted when they made it . In the food services industry there is appalling waist . In many places it is illegal to salvage it . Why could it not be irradiated and used in some other way ? I have known people who do this on their own . A new food recycling system would have to be created , to do this on a grand scale . The major problem being transport . It is wasting a resource .
