To the right of the comments, I noticed an ad for "the truth about drugs" I went there and ordered their info packet and book (free) which I will immediately throw away upon arrival. I encourage everyone to do the same. Screw them lying pieces of crap. Drugs do make you cool. And lack of drugs leaves you uncool indefinitely.

Marijuana is a gateway drug. When you try it and find out they lied about it, and it's super cool, you know they are lying about the other shit too. I have tried most all drugs, and yes they are lying about a lot of stuff. Mainly "addiction" I don't believe I have ever been addicted to anything except cigarettes and "the apprentice" And as you can see after all the shrooms, acid, heroin, coke, meth (lots) I am quite a bit more intelligent than most. Actually they tell me I am in the top 3% on IQ tests. So toke up kids.

I'm right there with you. After smoking & railing & tripping through all the bullshit laid before us, we've come out more intelligent and rational than people who've never.
High five!

oh_dear, I don't advocate driving stone, giving or selling it to minors. I am sorry if you were abused, or if you were the abuser. But, ones persons abuse should not set the standard for the many who do not abuse. All use is not abuse!
I am 54 years old, I have been married almost 37 years. Cannabis has not led to abuse. In reality, it many times tied the knot before we got to the end of it. Have ya ever heard, 'When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on'? Cannabis hemp makes the best rope, physically and mentally. Many times smoking cannabis has calmed a tense situation, before it got out of hand. But hey, that's just me.
I don't believe the laws should be changed just for me. I think the laws should be changed because the facts can stand on their own. Cannabis should not be classified the same as heroin and cocaine. I agree with Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and John Adams.
"Two of my favorite things are sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe of sweet hemp, and playing my Hohner harmonica." - Abraham Lincoln (from a letter written by Lincoln during his presidency to the head of the Hohner Harmonica Company in Germany)
"Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth & protection of the country."
- Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President"Make the most you can of the Indian Hemp seed and sow it everywhere."
- George Washington, U.S. President"We shall, by and by, want a world of hemp more for our own consumption."
- John Adams, U.S. President - 2 years ago

I don't have a problem with hemp products. I make hemp jewelery. I use hemp skin products even. But I do not support the use of Marijuana for the means of getting high, while I do agree with it's use for medical purposes. In my experience, I was the one abused, and it was vicious. That aside, I smoked A LOT of pot in HS and University and I also have many friends who smoke pot that are harmless as ever. I agree that it's unfair to throw everyone into one group, but it's also unfair to say "men don't beat their wives while high from pot" too. Which is what my comment was directed at. Some people are abusive bastards while drunk too, and some are giggly and fun to be around.

oh_dear, I am sorry you were abused. I totally agree with the laws, which makes abuse a crime. I do not agree with punishing people who do not abuse, for smoking cannabis.
Once again, I do not take abuse lightly for any reason.

“When’s the last time you heard about some guy on marijuana coming in and hitting his wife?”
uh...it happens more than people think...and i speak from personal experience. oh and driving stoned is just as dangerous as driving drunk. i don't understand how people think it's a safer option to drive "mellow and sleepy"....

i wish that everyone that enjoys Cannabis could spend some hood time on a Police car. That would git rid of the apathy that runs rampant among pot heads. nobody gives a shit about changing the law untill they get the boot to the neck......do the crime do the time....
its my life dammit........let me live it as i please....
