A federal judge in Massachusetts has decried what he considers preferential treatment for blogger Andrew Sullivan, whose recent charge for marijuana possession on Cape Cod was dropped while other defendants with the same charge were prosecuted.

Andrew Sullivan received the justice, which all Americans should be afforded. Cannabis should not be classified the same as heroin and cocaine. The mistake in justice didn't occur in the Andrew Sullivan case, the 'injustice' happens to every other American who has been put into the criminal justice system due to cannabis.
It's time to reclassify cannabis hemp and stop throwing ordinary Americans in jail for using cannabis. It's time to allow hemp to be used for industry in America. Hemp should not just be allowed, it should be promoted. Our farmers and our environment could benefit from the 'change' in cannabis hemp laws.

This judge must live in a cave if he doesn't realize that money and influence govern the outcome of most trials in this country. If Justice was truly blind then EVERYONE (companies included) would get an overworked public defender for counsel and they wouldn't get to choose them either there would be no private lawyers. Rich people couldn't use the law as a club anymore if that were the case that's why it will never happen the law will never be equal.
Nope, if justice were truly blind then there would be a justice lottery and you'd have just as much chance as a rich person to get a competent lawyer. That's why Justice raises the blindfold from time to time to make sure she shows respect to the status quo.
