    • ...that video was made by a biased organization, bias has to be left behind to create real education. The video skews ideas and ignores others.

    • Business class would help who ever created this movie, especially the part where economic systems are explained. Don't forget Ethics, and Regulatory systems. We need education not propaganda masquerading as education. Learn it in school not on a libertarian blog.

    • This video started off fairly well but has alot of holes, is not very objective, disregards prominent examples to the contrary, and in particular does not give nearly enough credence to the idea of democracy.

This video ignores the ability of people to be the government or the state and instead treats it as some "other", something against which the masses are working. He neglects to mention that under social democracy (which does have successful examples) that people own and have stake in large amounts of capital and that under these systems, there is a synergy of the abilities of many that can acheive very different monumental feats than those produced by competition.

He also neglects the idea of direct democracy, i.e. Switzerland, where the entire popluation has a fairly direct stake in the direction of the nation, and therefore any state-owned capital, and has the ability to adjust the amount to which private ownership is allowed (which is almost totally). under this system, you can have your cake (state-owned i.e. democratically owned by all) and eat it too (private enterprise competing in a fair marker with that which is state-owned) if the system isnt working, it can simply be adjusted which is why a nation divided between 4 languages, with almost no natural resources, can be one of the most prosperous countries in the world.

It is in making the kinds of simplifications this video does that we end up polarizing people, charging them with emotions to pursue and enacts simplified concepts, and ignore the idea of compromise, open mindedness, and political/social ingenuity.

    • So basic undated political education materials are now news huh? Again on Utube, again a "cross link" through happybunnies.

What do you do? Dig up whatever you can for that day, decide it's news and try to flog it here?

Then by your logic so would one of those get rich quick "cash flow seminars" infomercials on late night TV. That's all about the housing crisis... kind of... you know, houses are included. At least they changed one scene of the ad to include mentioning it even if the actual material they are selling hasn't changed in years.

What are you? The guy who is paid to say "PrAISE JESUS! ITS A MIRICALE!"?

Looking at your post list you have never commented on anything that wasn't a peacefreedomhappybunnies post, they're always high in the list and they're always silly little slogans like that.

Am I even talking to a human here? A shill account maybe?
