Iran that doesn't surrender

When we speak of a country largely closed to the rest of the world as Iran is difficult to understand if the regime is solid, if really has support among the population, how long it can last. After the rigged election of Ahmadinejad and the protests in the streets with dozens of deaths and hundreds of arrests, some hoped that the islamic regime was close to falling.

    • thier collective hearts are in the right place but a tradition of dhimi law in islam prevents them from succeeding.
the path to freedom is the unyielding support of liberty as the french showed us in the late 1700s
dhimi law states that islam is supreme
and islam is to submit to god it directly conflicts with the idea of personal liberty above all else.
the more room the world gives them to work this conflict out the sooner it resolves.
intrusion by anyone(muslum jew or christian)
who is not iranian creates a need to focus on defending thier ideals instead of progressing them
