Irish actor Brendan Gleeson has picked up an Emmy award in the US for his portrayal of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the acclaimed biopic Into the Storm. The 54-year-old won the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Mini-Series at last night's ceremony in Los Angeles.
