If a scientist tells you something is good for you, you should just trust him? Shouldn't he have to prove something is absolutely true, before he tries to make billions of dollars sticking it up your ass?

You see, the problem is, there is SCIENTIFIC evidence that many properties used to make these vaccines have multiple negative side-effects. NURSES, DOCTORS, and vaccine makers know about the side-effects, and frankly do not wish to take the risks by letting themselves be injected with the crap.

If doctors, nurses, and vaccine makers don't want the stuff in their bodies, you can be certain, we shouldn't either!

And who are you to tell healthcare workers what they should inject into their bodies? Are you GOD? Or are you a SCIENTIST?

For those of you who still cannot grasp the reasoning behind a person refusing or not receiving the H1N1 vaccine, you had better do your research instead of hastily spouting off about what you think is right. I have read the same information in a number of articles and some other disturbing info. Here are some links to enlighten you and anyone interested. P.S. For those of you that are parents I leave you with this one thought, are you really willing to have this vaccine administered to you or your child with declarations of efficacy or declarations of safety with words and phrases like MAYBE, PROBABLY, LIMITED TESTING RESULTS SHOW, POSSIBLY, WE DON'T KNOW....................................................

*this last video is just food for thought, a little out there and dramatic but it kind of sparked a startled response in me so I wanted to include it.

When someone works in Health care/Child care industries the person is working with a group of people that are or will become immunocompromised. The flu and cold viruses mutate. The flu shot is just a best guess at this point of which strain of the virus will be the most virulent. You can't "build" up your immune system for all flu or cold viruses. The virus MUTATES. If you don't want the shot, don't work in those fields.

i am not so much concerned with a possible injected vaccine that can possibly help build up my immune system to fight off another strain of flu, as i am with what contents make up that vaccine. it has been shown that heavy metals and other nasty substances are in a majority if not all of our vaccines and to that i say no thank you.

Paranoia is why this is happening and no one should be fired for it! I have been a nurse for 20 yrs. I have not been approached with this because my employer and most other employers [of nurses] know that it wouldn't fly. As nurses we are offered the Hepatitis B shot upon employment but can refuse it. I realize that H1N1 is very different from Hep B but you can't force someone to take it. You will have a very large number of the nursing workforce quitting if this is made mandatory. I work in a very busy urgent care we have been treating people with H1N1 ever since the outbreak earlier this year. People, an average of 36,000 people die every year from influenza or the flu. Approximately 4,100 have died around the world from H1N1. Swine flu has been around since the early 1900's. There have been outbreaks off and on since then. Perhaps the strains may vary, however the treatment is the SAME for the common yearly flu and swine flu. Even if you take the H1N1 vaccine there is no guarantee it will work. I have NEVER taken a flu shot. I have had flu-like symptoms maybe a handful of times in the 20 years I've been a nurse. I've been taking care of people with influenza and H1N1 ALL YEAR LONG AND HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT!! It's preposterous to even consider forcing someone to take this. If the government or anyone else starts mandating this then we are going to have a war on our hands. This vaccine did not even go through the proper clinical trials. It was made available in warp speed time! What does that tell you?? That the CDC is in bed with pharmaceutical companies? Or the FDA? or the government? I don't know but there are a lot of people in the medical community AND the military that are very against this because of side effects and EVEN DEATHS! You can die from anything you put into your body, but I'll be damned if I am going to willingly put something into my body that hasn't been properly studied or furthermore that is unecessary. We treat the friggin flu and swine flu by treating symptoms anyway. THERE IS NO CURE! VIRUSES HAVE TO RUN THEIR COURSE!

"This was infected with a bird flu virus," Rosenberger said. "There were some people from the company who handled it." On one hand we have a threat to public health, and the on the other, a startling invasion of personal rights.

What threat to public health? The threat is hyped. It's an attack on more than personal rights.....The attack is on peoples ability to feed their families!

SeaJade's implication is correct. It's a galling choice. On one hand we have a threat to public health, and the on the other, a startling invasion of personal rights. Children are the most vulnerable targets of this amalgamated virus, officially now a pandemic. If I had young children, or worked in the public health services, I don't see an alternative. Let's hope the composition of the vaccine is effective against a constantly mutating virus and the vaccine itself, doesn't have any unforeseen health effects.

I read an article the other day that in at least several states it is mandatory to take the shot if you work in health services (I don't know where I read that, too many stories ago) .... and, yes, the only way to say no is to leave your job....

the reason we have such a low immunity to not only flu but all sicknesses is because we take so many vaccines and medicines and shit. It blows my mind how retarded people can be
