    • Easternstar,

"I find it necessary to protect the public"?????

WTF. Protect the public from the NURSE? Do you even understand exactly how screwed up that sounds?

The NURSE is attacked by the PUBLIC, with their infectious asses every day. A NURSE never knows what germs she is coming into contact with, when the PUBIC comes a visiting. Should the NURSE require the PUBLIC to have the VACCINE before dealing with them? Maybe everyone else should take the Vaccine so the health professionals will be protected from US, the PUBLIC?

Your treading on Free Will here. Can't you see that?

      xwolp,

Washing hands and having an untested vaccine shot into your body are not exactly bedfellows. Apples to oranges buddy. I find your distortions to be the only thing criminal here.

      MFT,
Exactly! I guess that's their true agenda. Make all our decisions for us.

      Unimatrix0,
This I find the most disturbing.

"It is good they are requiring day care workers and health professionals to get vaccinated.

      Vaccines protect everybody.

Why should some selfish, paranoid, ignoramus be allowed to endanger me or my kids?

Science works, find something real to worry about."

You obviously haven't researched what exactly is used in vaccines. Your naive trust of those who stand to make billions off of your ignorance, is uncanny.

Your bold declaration of blind faith for ALL VACCINES, tells volumes about your discretion.

Your character assassignation of a woman who doesn't want untested, fast-tracked vaccines injected into her body is deplorable.

Science works...That is what everyone should be worried about.

Science worked when it dropped horror on Japan....TWICE.

Science works every time a bullet is fired out of a gun. Everytime a mind goes insane from the pain of being subjected to chemical, biological, etc. weapons created thanks to SCIENCE.

LOBOTOMIES were performed in the name of SCIENCE.

The logical use SCIENCE, much like the fanatic uses GOD to explain the world. They both think they are right, while both being equaly deluded.

If a scientist tells you something is good for you, you should just trust him? Shouldn't he have to prove something is absolutely true, before he tries to make billions of dollars sticking it up your ass?

You see, the problem is, there is SCIENTIFIC evidence that many properties used to make these vaccines have multiple negative side-effects. NURSES, DOCTORS, and vaccine makers know about the side-effects, and frankly do not wish to take the risks by letting themselves be injected with the crap.

If doctors, nurses, and vaccine makers don't want the stuff in their bodies, you can be certain, we shouldn't either!

And who are you to tell healthcare workers what they should inject into their bodies? Are you GOD? Or are you a SCIENTIST?

      Just wondering?

      Boomchaka,

      Refer to answer to easternstar.

      SCT,
Yes! Not only was this an attack on her free will, but IMO boils down to an attempt to poison her, and the criminals are clearly those who are putting themselves in a position to make money while doing it!
And then take away the NURSES ability to feed their family by rufusing to be poisoned by them. The world is completely ass-backwards isn't it?

      Massanova,

Your answers are always spot on with common sense and logic. You restore my faith that humanity may just have a shot at surviving themselves.

      Holly,
Love your passion! Keep it up!

locutus, go learn some science of your own. H1N1 is not shown to be more deadly than the typical seasonal flu.

Some writers on this board are right. This is residual media-hyped paranoia from early this year driving this shot craze. There are real complications from these hastily developed innoculations that need to be considered on an individual basis.

    • When you join the military you have to get certain vaccines as a part of being in the military and traveling to certain areas and other countries. I'm just saying, it is a person responsiliblity to protect those around you and your job. I'm quit sure there is places out there for the nurse to work without having to take the vaccine, but in a high status environment like the hospital, I find it necessary to protect the public.

    • That's like being outraged because because some guy at the fast food joint got fired for refusing to wash their hands.
As a nurse she should know better and deserves to be fired for endangering her patients. It's almost criminal.

    • Vaccines have been proven to be unsafe, been proven to cause weakened immune system, very serious illness and sometimes death. To force someone to take a dangerous, rushed into production vaccine which is not guaranteed to protect you from anything is insane.

No one should be forced to take a swine fraud vaccine.

I'm not going to let you or anyone else decide for ME. I will educate myself and in the end I suspect that I will NOT take the vaccine. The CDC has a program right now to MONITOR for neurological problems that can arise from the vaccine in the test groups. So they still know that there is a risk. I'm not willing to take that chance. This video proves that bad things can happen and I will worry about it because it is going to effect me. Ignorance is bliss huh?

    • How can people be forced to inject a substance into their own body when they do not yet know the affects of these vaccines and medications on the human body?! I mean she is a nurse so she would be able to receive treatment if she did catch this virus, and I thought the people who went UNtreated were the ones who had the serious issues..

    • from a legal standpoint this is tricky.
but a nurse would almost certainly be exposed to swine flu. in a high density area like a hospital many people would get sick from him/her, especially since a lot of people visiting the hospital would have weakened immune systems. in short, its very naive and irresponsible to put others (including her family) at risk, so she was rightfully terminated. its the much lesser of two evils

Why would someone be fired for making their own choice? we say this is a free country and people are free to choose whatever they want but then we want to make decisions for them. It is contradictory to the first amendment rights. The nurse does not ahev swine flu and what we fail to understand is, when we take vaccines, we are putting parts of the illness in us also. Has anyone cared to know her own reason for refusing? I don't think anyone did care if the reasons were genuine or not. In my own opinion, it was wrong to fire the nurse.

    • BoomChaka:

Paranoia is why this happened and she should have never been fired. I have been a nurse for 20 yrs. I have not been approached with this because my and most other employers [of nurses] know that it wouldn't fly. As nurses we are offered the Hepatitis B shot but can refuse it. I realize that H1N1 is very different from Hep B but you can't force someone to take it. You will have a very large number of the nursing workforce quitting if this is made mandatory. I work in a very busy urgent care we have been treating people with H1N1 ever since the outbreak earlier this year. People, an average of 36,000 people die every year from influenza or the flu. Approximately 4,100 have died around the world from H1N1. Swine flu has been around since the early 1900's. There have been outbreaks off and on since then. Perhaps the strains may vary, however the treatment is the SAME for the common yearly flu and swine flu. Even if you take the H1N1 vaccine there is no guarantee it will work. I have NEVER taken a flu shot. I have had flu-like symptoms maybe a handful of times in the 20 years I've been a nurse. I've been taking care of people with influenza and H1N1 ALL YEAR LONG AND HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT!! It's preposterous to even consider forcing someone to take this. If the government or anyone else starts mandating this then you are going to have a war on your hands. This vaccine did not even go through the proper clinical trials. It was made available in warp speed time! What does that tell you?? That the CDC is in bed with pharmaceutical companies? Or the FDA? or the government? I don't know but there are a lot of people in the medical community AND the military that are very against this because of side effects and EVEN DEATHS! You can die from anything you put into your body, but I'll be damned if I am going to willingly put something into my body that hasn't been properly studied or furthermore that is unecessary. We treat the friggin flu and swine flu by treating symptoms anyway. THERE IS NO CURE! VIRUSES HAVE TO RUN THEIR COURSE. BoomChaka firing a nurse is not the lesser of two evils! It's ignorance that got this woman fired and I suspect that we will be hearing of this again. Peace out.
