I DO LOVE DOGS HOWEVER IN ONE HAND I HAVE SEEN 3 PEOPLE OVER 3-4 YEARS THAT WAS ATTAKED BY THIS SORT OF DOG...however ITS UNFAIR TO PUT THEM ALL UNDER THE SAME 'BAD REP'...I do think its not the dogs but the owners....soz

I totally agree with idealist. I've known so many pits that are the most gentle, friendly dogs you'd ever know. It's not the dog, it's the owner. Unfortunately the stereotype of pit bulls works both ways, so that people that want vicious dogs get pits and abuse them to make them vicious.

these poor dogs are being hated on! even in oregon alot of renters will not rent to owners of pitbulls makeing them choose between there dog or that home.
pit bulls get a bad rap as violent dogs. but its violent owners over the years that make violent dogs. its dogy racism!!

You have to wonder, though, what sort of person who, knowing of this rule, would still bring a pit bull into the city. They're putting their own pet at risk. The law is stupid and miscalculated, we can all agree, but if I owned a cat that my town banned, I would leave rather than have my pet "euthanized" (i.e. murdered)

We must raise awareness that pit bulls are not guns or objects to just kill....They are life which should be cherished...
So many animal abusors around here, its not suprising when the government themselves can be one as well....
