The newspapers, at first Italians and then international, haven't scared him much. The sexual scandal, Noemi, Patrizia D'Addario and everything that has happened in recent months have annoyed him and subsequently he ordered his faithful thugs to attack anyone, even the very moderate editor of italian bishops' newspaper. Excellent Article. I have added it to the International Relations group page. Those poor Italians who have known from the beginning what a smelly little turd Berlusconi is are beside themselves with frustration. For him to have been Prime Minister ONCE was unjust. To see him return is utterly monstrous. We in the U.S. can hardly throw rocks after re-electing Bush to a second term following his disastrous first term -- but we are perhaps in the best position to commiserate!

Thanks. I don't know who's the worst between Bush and Berlusconi. In fact, they had a sort of friendship. I'd say that Berlusconi is the worst because Bush could only be elected two times, while our premier unfortunately has no such limitation. Now we'll see if italians will be able to oust him before he completely destroys the country.
