Huge corporations and foreign nations take a proprietary interest in the government of the United States because they own it. They bought it at the on-going auction called 'K-street' where is sold to the highest bidders the services of Congress, the White House and even the US Supreme Court.

    • I think Gore Vidal may be right. Perhaps the only thing we can count on to clean up Washington is a Military takeover of Washington. Let them weed out the corrupt and put them in front of firing squads.

      We need a strong military leader to be our bull dog.

    • I think that the infantilization of the American public has progressed so far that there is not enough popular support for an effective, long-term investigation into this or any other question that cannot be answered in ten minutes or less. This very "news" site is designed around the premise that people want quick, easy-to-grasp, sensationalistic items which they can be titillated by and then soon forget; look at the right side of this web page to see how the "rating" process is designed: the most sensationalistic "news" rises, while stories that are not immediately-gratifying fall.

      I applaud you for posting this story and for continuing the effort to keep the truth in the open.

    • Of course they had thought about it, and planned for counter measures. Who gave the stand down order that allowed it to happen? Watch the video of GWB sitting in that school after the first crash.

    • Thanks lenhart, this is a great aid in debunking the debunkers. I hope the effort to vote for an investigation in New york passes and we get a real investigation.
