Hero Pilots Returning to the Skies Today

The pilots who landed a US Airways jet safely in the Hudson River will reunite in the cockpit Thursday for the first time for a flight out of New York, the airline said.

      did you even read the article?
      a plane took off, birds struck the engines, they lost power, and the pilots very skillfully landed the plane in the hudson river, saving 153 lives. thats it.
      i dont think you know enough about aviation to understand this. you dont have to have flown a 68 ton plane to know it would be hard to avoid (or even see for that matter) a flock of birds.

      however i agree these guys dont deserve to be called "heroes". theres a saying that "doctors bury their mistakes, pilots die go down with theirs" or something like that.

      i think youve gotta get out more often. the government has better things to do than stage emergencies to distract the public from something most of them dont even know and/or care about.

      Idiot Americans didn't even test this jerk's blood alchohol level.

      Then again this whole crash was probably staged to distract from the modern day Palestinian Holocaust which happened and went unreported while this took headlines for weeks and weeks... Nobody seriously hurt here, but thousands of innocent civillians were massacred and burnt alive by Israel while this was being covered. Where is the common sense of my fellow Americans? Do you need George Carlin to wake your dumb asses up>?
