      The psychiatrists who extensively examined Roman Polanski declared that he is not a pedophile.

      Hospital examinations of the girl showed that there had not been anal sex. Allegations are one thing, facts are another.

      There is no reason why I should be ashamed of myself for exposing facts, and my children and grandchildren are just fine, thank-you very much.

      You, as a soldier, are proud of killing the innocent Iraqi and other children. That, in my mind, is far worse than pedophilia.

Parents prostitute their kids all the time. I am sorry this is not a popular thing to say but they will do anything to get their kids into the business. As I said before like Miley Cirus would you allow your 15 year old pose with hardley no clothes. Hell No! Prostitution pure and simple. And most of the time it's the parents who want this not the kids.

      I would never have sent my 13 year-old looking and acting 18 year-old daughter alone to anyone for a casting and photo shoot, telling her to act sexy and seductive in the hope that she would catch the eye of the film director and become a star in the first place.

      put them in beauty contests & bikini's- no problem.

      actually lust after them.. go to jail.

      america is the ultimate prick tease.

      If that was your daughter would you have let her do modeling without you? Hell I see parents do anything to get thier daughters into the business.And during the 70's it was bad.Just look at Miley Cyrus her dad pimps her out all the time.Girls will do anything to get what they want.

      The author of that article seems to base himself entirely on headlines and teasers (plus a great deal of embroidery in black) of the recent past as from Polanski's arrest in Switzerland. He shows absolutely no in-depth knowledge of the case. He writes as if he knew better than Polanski's attorney and others directly involved in the case and presumes a great deal.

      Yeah, when I looked up a little about him I wondered if he was "a dubious source". But the article seemed interesting anyway.. so I thought I'd post it and see what it might elicit ;^)

    • Wow, it seems everybody including the victim wants this to go away, then again he is a self confessed pedo and the film was full of and probably made by Polanski's fan club members.
      Good film though, at one point I nearly felt sorry for him for having to rape a 13 year old girl.
      The Judge also seemed to have his own agenda.
      I still think he should be sent back to Poland for a chemical castration.

      You can't have watched and understood the whole documentary and write what you did. Polanski is not and never was a pedophile. He has none of the characteristics of a pedophile. He does not go for children. He is not a predator and poses no danger to children anywhere. Try watching the documentary again, and concentrate on all that is said and shown.

      Did you miss the fact that she looked and acted 18, that she had had sex with men previous to her encounter with Polanski, that it was not the first time that she had taken Quaaludes or alcohol? A statutory rape (which is the kind in the Polanski case) is not the same thing as rape. He is absolutely not a "self-confessed pedo".

      Hey, the guy was sentenced for HAVING SEX WITH A MINOR, he served 42 days and everyone including the prosecution agreed that he should had been on probation. He was not a Pedophile and was not convicted of rape. The Judge was a total Jerk off who seemed to change his mind every five minutes. YOU CAN NOT DO THAT once you have reached a deal on court. On top of that the woman settled with Polanski for an amount of money so that in itself is an admission of guilt on her part.

      LADA is on a which hunt motivated on political reasons, Polanski will never return to the US even if he is not convicted of anything, he was tortured enough.

      U fuck a child, you are a beast, all the mitigating circumstances do not change the fact, he admited in the video, he did it, and knew how old she was, he was also aware of the laws.
      So some guys who fuck children are ok and some are not? How do you tell which ones are good? should we just email you guys?
      I stated there was somthing wrong with the judge, but polanski still stole a child's innocence

If we are going to make this man, who has contributed intensely to Cinema's history, a poster child for rapist and pedophiles, then the US Government should start prosecuting ALL the military men that had raped and murdered children in Countries like Japan, Colombia, Irak, Afganistan, thailand, etc
