Nearly 1000 people belonging to various ethnic groups involved in fighting each other in a civil war last year, walked today, united through peace and non-violence in Kisumu, a city located on the banks of Lake Victoria.
This march, initiated from the center of the city, halted in front of the main institutions and schools in the city, concluding in the most impoverished areas.
