asherp
Netting $2.5 billion in profits last year wasn't enough for WellPoint, the nation's largest insurance company.

Now, WellPoint's affiliate, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, is suing the state of Maine for refusing to guarantee it a profit margin in the midst of a painful recession.

    • This type of thing goes on all over the world, I do believe one day it will stop, it has to stop!
There's only so much humanity can take from corporations, but maybe when we do reach that stage of no return, our spirits will be broken that we wont be able to save ourselves.

    • It makes me sick to my stomach to watch these kinds of videos. How can that lady sleep at night? How can anyone do a job were they have to find ways to basically let someone die?! where the fuck is morality nowadays? Could someone blow up their building or something? I mean come on, give us that moment in 300 when the queen grabbed the sword and killed that little bitch! Justice served. Im gonna ask for mercy on the souls of the people who run this company, karma's a bitch and she fights dirty.

    • More BS from the Insurance Mafia. Where is my guaranteed income during the recession? Why should this insurance company be guaranteed a certain level of profit, while the people on Main Street are suffering?

This is such BS it makes my blood boil.

    • This is happening right in my backyard.

I say we tell them to fuck off and institute a single payer system in the state of Maine.
