BBC to get tough on swearing and prank phone calls in new regulations

BBC presenters are expected to be banned from swearing immediately after the 9pm watershed and from conducting “humiliating and intimidating” prank phone calls under sweeping changes to the corporation’s editorial guidelines unveiled today.
