One more excerpt:
"Why unite to fight water crisis?
Nearly a billion human beings do not have access to safe drinking water.
More children die every year from drinking unclean water than in all of the world's armed conflicts.
Fully half of the world's wetlands have disappeared since 1900.
Collectively, the women of South Africa walk the equivalent of 16 trips to the moon and back each day just to collect water.
These are all facts and The Ugly Truth. Aren't these reasons sufficient enough to take action? ONE DROP's goal: to play a role in changing and influencing how safe water is shared and made accessible around the world."

To JanforGore:
"copying everything they put up"?
Really?Show me.
Don't make slandering and groundless statements like that.
Also, the reason you provided to justify your offensive attitude just doesn't cut it. - 2 years ago

To JanforGore:
I posted this and suddenly it vanished from the green group.
It has never happened before and I got surprised.
I wrote to Current as well.
I could not understand why until I saw it tagged as "already posted".
When I punched in key words like "World celebrities" or "one drop", "ISS" no articles were showing up.
You can try it your self if you don't believe me.The last thing I would want is to post something that was already posted, I can think with my own mind and have enough creativity to look for different and multi ranged news and ideas.
If you or somebody would have a duplicate of an article posted by me, I wouldn't take it personally,
first because when you look at the big picture spreading awareness is what prevails, second, your comment is what will always differ from everybody else, and last I might tag it as a duplicate, inform that member but certainly wouldn't assume badly of her/his intentions. What could have made you talk to me this way?
I can't help but start thinking that your sense of competition is what propelled your angry doubting of my concern for the environment.I have seen this offensiveness before with other members that did not deserve it, they were supporters of the environmental cause like you,
mainly it comes from a sense of intolerance."Intolerance is the most socially acceptable form of egotism, for it permits us to assume superiority without personal boasting. "
By Sydney J. HarrisI hope you can reconsider your thoughts and start looking at this form of activism (even if small), here at Current, as OUR BATTLE belonging to all of us not just yours.
You might want to look inside yourself and see if you are getting more concerned with the recognition you get than with the values of your actions.

Come on, it's JanforGore. When it comes to the environment, she is the real deal. The rest are just actors.

Don't play innocent and turn this around on me. You were the one who started by going into my thread announcing the Water Is Life Group and rudely chastizing me for putting the announcement in certain groups which was totally unexpected. So that is what prompted my question. If you really wanted to work with others here you would instead of copying everything they put up. Your motive is obvious.

Already posted in the Water Is Life Group. You know, the Group you dissed here when I posted about its start, for all of your caring about this crisis? Is this about real concern to you, or just a competition?

I can't find an article like this anywhere in the website.
I don't know why it has been flagged as already posted.
I put in keywords like "world celebrities", "October 9th" and "one drop" and nothing comes up.Can I have the original link that posted this?
