Even the RED CROSS will not take blood due to gay sex anytime after 1977. If they can not give blood to another soldier, they should not be in the battle.

The fact of the matter is that any blood donated is rigorously screened for just about everything hazardous, including HIV (which everyone knows is not strictly a gay disease), so there's no real need to keep homosexuals from donating blood. It's just another inane policy.

What the hell kind of tangent are you going off on? Other countries are irrelevant to the policy being discussed. But while you've brought it up, are you saying it's routine practice for the military to just leave its soldiers in foreign countries? Man. What a shitty country. One donates their life to it, and how do they get thanked? By being left in a foreign and potentially hostile land where they may not know the language and they're separated from everyone they know and care about? WRONG. gay women can donate blood, however gay men cannot due to health risks. Whether or not this is fair is debatable.
