Reagan proved that any politician ignoring the 'idiot' voting block [the GOP] imperils his/her political future. Thus, Sarah Palin, who became an expert on Russia by observing its coast line from across the Bering Strait, is assured a growing constituency: the growing legion of idiots! That's the public's fault. If the public simply will not inform themselves, then who can blame IDIOTS like Sara Palin for deliberately exploiting them and lying to them?

Judging by George Bush and the Nobel Prize winner, intelligence is definately not a requirement to be President. Looking at those two, I don't think there are any neccessary qualifications anymore.
