    • there has been an increase in cancers in the county i live in, especially from one valley. i lived there for years and it may be bad luck that i got cancer in my spine. the doctors here had never seen this kind before. i heard about the high rate of cancers from 2 hydrologists friends, who worry about the ground water in the santa ynes valley.

      We don't need dirty energy to treat water. What we need to do is keep toxics out of our water to begin with and power water utilities with alternatives. Use coal to address clean water problems is like using a mallet to treat a headache.
