    • Attacks are going to continue until the taliban and al Qaeda either overthrow the Pakisani government or a military overthrow occurs. No doubt agents of both are already in the Pakistan military waiting for the right moment.

    • OMG WE (IMF) JUST "loaned" PAKISTAN 7.6 BILLION $$$ to "fight militants." WTF? What about our schools and homeless? Between the "war on terror" and the to big to fail banks I don't see how our country is going to recover financially.

    • its not like our troops don't kill innocent civilians all the time, reporting "X amount of INSURGENT deaths were occurred today".

so you can at least see where my questions began.

    • When will this suffering, madness, and chaos stop? All people of the middle east, you worship the same deity and eat from the same planet and commune on the same soil under the same sky, what makes you so different that this bloodshed and mindless murder has to continue? A martyr for what?
We, the Americans, can't stop them from this only they can. The best thing to do is to stay out of their affairs and let them either peacefully resolute this problem or continue this century long struggle for nothing. Stepping in will only make them more divided and more violent, especially towards us.

    • Its odd how they use the word "martyr" (or translate a word into "martyr") so often to describe someone killed in a violent attack. Is that all it takes to be a martyr? Is that how a society plagued with so much violence and clinging so tightly to religion copes with their predicament? Doesn't that only assert that a noble death would actually be preferable to a crummy life in a developing country?
