We received over 40 entries and have narrowed the list down to 5 finalists — a tough job due to the high quality of the responses. Our main criterion was the amount of positive, ongoing impact on society and/or the environment that entrants can have.
Finalists are summed up at bottom right in their own words, but feel free to visit their websites and view the videos (where included). Then, cast a vote for the one you think is in the position to accomplish the most with our help. Deadline for voting is midnight EST, Friday, October 16. We'll announce the winner by no later than Friday, October 23, 2009.
