With the dumbing down of America, only someone as inarticulate as Bush would think he's smarter than Obama. Bush was unintelligent, he could not use the english language correctly, He could not even pronounce nuclear. His own lack of pertinent questions during his term (Richard Clark) not me said this, and had a very real misunderstanding of world politics in general prove this point. Intelligent people ask questions, learn to speak correctly, and have at least some knowledge of history. Bush did none of these.

Bush was likely smarter than he sounded and Obama is likely less intelligent than he sounds. All politicians are draped in a veil, trying to please the electorate and disguise their image. They are all actors playing to an audience and misleading the World.

After 8 years of dealing with a border line mental midget one would think the press would welcome a person who understands and can speak the native language. But then the press has gone from Walter Cronkite to Alfred E. Newman.

The really funny thing is that Bush Jnr wasn't actually the inarticulate loon he made himself out to be. Watch the old speeches he made as governor- mysteriously he didn't act half as moronic then. Basically the Republicans thought their voting base would respond better to a moron so that's how he talked as president.

it seems as if they're misusing the term articulate. They're confusing his ability to speak clearly with his huge presence in the media. Once again, a bunch of idiots are rousing the other idiots up.

President Obama is "obnoxiously articulate" much like the right wing members of current are "ecstaticly uneducated." There is no shame in that btw. Just please stfu.

This is a total sideshow, and totally retarded.
Why don't they focus on something like, oh, I don't know-- whether his policies are any good?

Too articulate give me a F ing break. So it's ok to sound stupid. I think this just shows more racism. If we had a white president this would not even be a topic.

I think its great we finally have a president who can actually articulate a proper sentence.
If people are really upset that Obama is articulate then jesus christ I have no faith in America, as if it were a problem to be articulate.

We had President Bush for eight years who could not even pronounce words correctly. Now we actually have a President who can speak english correctly and is articulate and people think its too much. Well if thats the case the dumbing down of America is complete. There is something wrong in America when people wonder if the President is too smart.

See, this is why I love the Current, because they wouldn't waste their times reporting on a story all about whether Obama is obnoxiously articulate.

Refreshingly articulate for sure. George W. made me cringe when he spoke. Bringing attention to it, made one think they were picking on him. Now they want to talk about President Obama being 'obnoxiously articulate'? I never heard them talk about George W. being obnoxiously stupid. They could overlook dumb comments of George W. and now use the words 'obnoxiously articulate' to reference President Obama. Maybe they really do want ordinary Americans dumbed down? Complete sentences make them nervous? I enjoy hearing President Obama speak.

So first, it was ok for Bush to sound like a complete moron, bumbling his words, making some up along the way. Now that there's a president that is articulate, knows wtf he's talking about (or at least makes it seem so) and doesn't sound like a country bumpkin, there's an issue? Wow ... Seriously ... wow.
People/media/etc just can't make up their minds, can they?
