RIP:Matthew Ferrer who will be missed

Early Saturday day morning in Vancouver, Washington a high school student was found in the apartment buildings of Oak Brook. He was transported to the locale hospital and was soon pronounced dead. The Clark county medical examiners still have no clue to how he died. They are waiting for the toxicology reports before they go any farther in their investigation.

Monday at Heritage high school students and staff mourned the passing of a great student, a great friend, a great soccer player, and just a great person all around.

Grief counselors were at Heritage all day to help students cope with such a horrible loss. Ferrer's club soccer coach with the Vancouver United Fusion team says he and his players are stunned by the death. Just hours after learning the news, Fusion played Saturday without Ferrer. They left the goalie position unmanned for the first play to honor him.

We send our hearts and pray out to the family and friends of this wonderful person.

"We miss you Matt and you will never be loss from our hearts."
