Gouldsboro, Maine - Man charged with Domestic Assault for threatening the pitbull that bit him!

Gouldsboro, Maine — Nathaniel Church, 19, was arrested Oct. 11 on charges of domestic assault and disorderly conduct, police said.

Police said a family member called to complain that Church was threatening to kill his dog, a pit bull that the caller said was very aggressive and had bitten Church the week before.

The caller told police Church was screaming, “Where’s my machete so I can kill the dog.”

    • But it does have that really angry looking dog in the picture that has nothing to do with the story.

      I'm sure the guy who wants to hack his dog up with a machete was treating the dog well. Giving it food, love, attention, exercise and it's not possible that he just kept it chained in the back yard. Luckily Maine is nice and warm outside at night for a short hair dog.

    • Very interesting that nowadays in state of Maine aggressive pitbull has protection by law but not a 19 year old young man who was first attacked by this pitbull and now he is also attacked by Maine Law.
