Spray Windex, Get Money. Clean smells promote moral behavior.

Would you like a pro tip for getting people to part with their money, promoting ethical conduct or recruiting volunteers? Spray a few spritzes of citrus-scented Windex around. Because, according to a soon-to-be published study led by a Brigham Young University professor, people are more generous when they are in clean-smelling environments.

    • So were all of these windex'd rooms done with a citrus scented windex? Citrus scents have already been shown to reduce stress and increase happiness, could this be all thats occurring here and is unrelated to the observed "cleanliness" of the rooms?
