In a down real estate market, landlords who might otherwise wait for more conventional tenants are snapping at the opportunity presented by medical-marijuana dispensaries, said Darrin Revious, a broker with Shames Makovsky Realty.

That's awesome for Colorado, I just don't understand what is taking so long for the rest of the country to reform their laws and opinions on medicinal marijuana. It seems as if the western part of the country is way ahead of the rest of us with these ideas, someone needs to convince the rest of the country to get on board so we don't look like a bunch of stubborn pricks

I live in a town in southwestern Colorado called Durango (great place to visit). We have recently seen a surge in medical marijuana patients resulting in dispensaries opening up around town, we now have 4 that came to be in less that 3 months. My mother is a medicinal marijuana patient and I am her non-using caregiver, with that said I feel like this is very relevant news. We all need to keep supporting the medicinal proliferation of marijuana because it truly does help people. If you would like proof of it's healing potential visit this website to view "Run from the cure" a very inspiring and saddening story about a man just trying to shed light on many misconceptions regarding marijuana's healing properties and the battle being waged against the truth; http://holistichemp.com/ Stay Green Colorado!

Cannabis can be grown indoors. Buildings now left vacant due to a down economy, could be utilized to grown cannabis. Hemp can be grown in varying climates and in various soils.
