    • The problem with all polls is the population that is being polled. It is usually people that answer their phone and agree to take a poll. These are not normal people. :)

    • Conservative is a broad and sometimes abiguous term, in that I think of myself as conservative, but do not always agree or vote their way on certain issues, like health care.

    • This shouldn't matter, because we have a system that assures that tyranny of the majority does not occur. Even if most Americans are conservative, that number varies greatly from state to state.

      The left needs to embrace the basic ideals of federalism and the Constitution if they want to survive. If they go ahead and centralize all power, America can easily be taken back a hundred years if some religious right loons do to the U.S. government what they did to the Republican Party.

    • i think this gallup poll just proved the reliability of gallup polls. id like to see an audit of their financials.. cuz somebodys paying.
