Dr. Matt Hendrickson, MD MPH was arrested Thursday 10/28/2009 in Glendale for joining with others at a CIGNA sit-in, while Grigor Sarkisyan is turned away asking to see someone at CIGNA to explain to him why then denied her health care that caused her death. Dr. Hendrickson is one of many doctors doing the same at sit-ins around the country. Nationwide over 800 people have signed up to risk arrest and many more to rally in their support for viable healthcare reform. Most are not buying the public option poker game in Congress. They want to see a single payer system and have vowed to turn up the heat on these protests while that remains off the people's table.
Mr. Sarkisyan was forced to leave the lobby to avoid arrest as were media members.
