Drug companies have sold $1.5 billion worth of swine flu shots, in addition to the $1 billion for seasonal flu they booked earlier this year. These inoculations are part of a much wider and rapidly growing $20 billion global vaccine market."

    • The normal flu shot has been studied for years, and the public is still divided on whether it is effective or not. This vaccine has been out for a fraction of the time, and its labeled safe.

      People have to keep a clear mind, and not be frightened by the media.

    • In todays age of medicine, one is supposed to feel comfortable listening to our doctors advice. Vaccines are supposed to help a person not give them further problems. The mercury levels in these flu vaccines cannot be safe, I figure that children are at risk and I will not be giving my son the flu shot. Our bodies have immune systems that are supposed to be able to handle viruses and bacteria that can make us sick. What is happening to us now that there is a vaccine for everything? Are we making ourselves more vulnerable to viruses that will evlolve in the future?

    • Here is a quote directly from the Fluvanol flu vaccine package insert for the 2009-2010 formula:

      " FLULAVAL is an influenza virus vaccine indicated for active immunization of adults 18 years of age and older against influenza disease caused by influenza virus subtypes A and type B contained in the vaccine. This indication is based on immune response elicited by FLULAVAL, and there have been no controlled trials demonstrating a decrease in influenza disease after vaccination with FLULAVAL."

      It bears repeating - "NO controlled trials demonstrating a decrease" in contracting the flu at all after vaccination! It goes on to mention each dose contains 25 mcg of mercury. This is 250 times the amount considered safe by the EPA. So the company itself says the vaccine shows no decrease in your risk of getting the flu but it does have pages full of warnings and possible side effects. It is very interesting reading if care about your health and your body...
