The plastic additive bisphenol A (BPA) may not be so bad after all, according to results from a new animal study funded by the federal government.
Some earlier research in rodents suggested BPA, which is found in polycarbonate plastics, could act like the hormone estrogen. Those studies found that exposure to even tiny amounts of BPA could cause abnormal sexual development.
The latest work, published in the journal Toxicological Sciences, reached a very different conclusion.

FDA approved drugs kill 150,000 people every year...why are we still listening to them. all illegal drugs combined dont kill 10,000 people. FDA makes money off 450,000 tobacco deaths each year and they just look the other way....

Not sure why the EPA is involved. Seems like an FDA matter but it's nice to see some research and study results from industry-outsiders on a rather hot button topic. Is anything safe anymore? Is the contact my fingers are making with the keys right now giving me cancer?
