Varex_Sythe good evaluation of history. However, you might want to analyze the present a little more. A good examination of the Health Care Bill will reveal that it is more about amping up control of the citizens by the government. That is something, whether about taxation without representation or not, that cannot happen and won't be tolerated if it makes it past the next stage. Add this bill to the Cap and Trade and then the Copenhagen Treaty and the combined result is Tyranny with a capital T. Please take the time to read the entire Health Care bill before disregarding this as conspiracy. There might be a conspiracy involved but it's conspiracy fact not conspiracy theory.

I will be more specific in the future. I can respect liberal and moderate faithful of any religion, but when one group murders in the name of their invisible diety because they disagree with the other groups invisible diety, then I find that abhorrent to my nature. It makes me want to lash out with my words. I am a Scorpio after all. We can be love and kisses most of the time, but threaten our freedom and we might get you with our deadly sting.
I believe in the fundamental goodness of most people on this planet. The radicals are stealing the stage and plunging everyone into a state of fear in which we think things are worse than they really are. Its like you said in another post. Black ops being carried out on us by our own political manipulators within our Republic. I hate them as much as I hate the radical murderers of any religion.

@monkey_films, I have respect for the peacful mainstream muslims. I have strongly advocated on this site for the rights of the Palestinians to their own state based on the Oslo accords. But my comment was more about the recent development in which Islamic leaders are asking the UN to amend the Universal Declaration of Human rights to criminalize criticisms of Islam or depictions of Muhammad. The story said that these leaders are putting immense pressure on European nations to incorporate Sharia law into their judicial systems.
I am sorry but I cannot condone the erosion of free speech in the name of Islam. I think it is important for people to be able to be critical of extremists and fanatics.

jubal, Amen all the way down to the Muslim part. Most terrorist attacks are performed for military purposes by members of military. We did 9/11 using Muslims that were trained by the CIA. We then use their religion and race to justify war after war that had nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with greed and power. Now, we have Muslims that want to kill us because of our actions against them, not because of their religion. True Muslims are very nice, peaceful people that go out of their way to do unto others... The Muslims I personally know act more like 'Christians' than the 'Christians' I know. Our government has been personally responsible for terrorist attacks in this country and in many others. This practice is written about in US military training manuals that I have in my possession. Conflicts around the world are started this way.

Monkey-Films,
Your first post makes sense. I don't know if there is a conspiracy, but when you speak to united we stand, divided we fall, you are correct. It seems we get divided down party lines, when we need to unite as one nation.
Humans are on a road to extinction from a variety of things we have done to ourselves.
However, attacking a person for posting the stats, as slarabee has done, is not a good way to get your point accross.

I am sorry, I have read and am up to date on the Codex Alimentarus, I am familiar with all the talk about the one world government and the collapse of the dollar. But I just don't buy into those conspiracy theories. I have faith and hope in the goodness of the American People. We have incredible patriots here who will fight attempts at circumventing our liberty and our constitution. People will not stand for handing over our sovereignty to the UN.
I didn't say that the REVOLUTION was going to bloodless. It may very well be bloodier than the first and the CIVIL WAR were. Countless millions may well loose their lives. No doubt we will also engage ISLAM as well, for they are behind the terror and the push to protect their ignorance against criticism by making it a crime against Islam. They want Blasphemy against Islam to be a crime.
I will be there to fight for our liberty if necessary. I have nothing left to loose. Everything I hold dear has been tread upon and if violence is the answer, then so be it.
The INGLORIOUS BASTARDS may well have to rise again.

As predicted, it would be the same if the extreme left wing of the Dems took the reigns of the Democratic party. A new age of wisdom and informed voters is coming as whiteness by the 2008 elections. Now the ruling Democratic party has plenty of political ads for use in 2010 of Republicans obstructionists against of all things the citizens and healthcare.

A new and better (stronger) Republican party is emerging. Just wait for 2010 when they regain majoirty with less moderate and conservative Republicans. It has taken Americans to understand the ways of this new Government. The Hope and Change that Obama portrayed now has a big spotlight affixed to it and citizens are running as fast they can away from it.

Wow, jubal, nice thought and wonderful if it could really happen that way, but, not gonna happen. The financial collapse was done on purpose and we are having a fake recovery. Nothing of what you think of about America will be left within the next two years. The dollar will become worthless, our government will sign it's sovereignty over to the UN and join the world government. Cap and trade will virtually eliminate the middle class making us a country of poor and super rich. This is not 'the sky is falling' talk here, this is reality. While you're talking about a 'Green 2nd American Revolution' you might want to check out Codex Alimentarius. The WHO will remove virtually all nutrients from the market redefining them as 'drugs' starting in January. This will create worse malnutrition than we already have in this country. The malnourished, you see, don't make a very good resistance. This is all documented fact, I hate to be the one to break it to you.

locutus dismissing any and all comparisons to Hitler is ridiculous. Do you believe an evil man can only happen once in history? That, my friend, is what makes no sense. The two parties were created to keep the people divided. You really need to watch 'End Game' from Alex Jones; it is fully documented and can't be proven wrong. We supplied Hitler with the scientists who created his eugenics program. After the war, we gave new names to many in Hitler's Army and gave them government jobs. The truth hurts but it is the truth and nothing can change that. You were right on one point though, I should have said much worse than Hitler and the proof is mainstream. Just spend a little time and do a little research. Look up the book Eco-Science by John Holdren, one of Obama's Czars. This book talks about poisoning your water to keep you sterile and to minimize the population. I could go on and on about the horrors in this book which was written as a textbook for governmental training. People are so blind he can even hire 36 illegal Czars and even call them that, Czars. They flaunt their plans in your face and all you have to do is wake up from your 'patriotism' and you'll see. Yes, Hitler, no exaggeration and historically no flaw in my evaluation. Stalin wouldn't be a stretch either, nor would Mao. A tyrant is a tyrant is a tyrant and what we have in this country is the start of tyranny. Throughout history they succeed because people like you refuse to believe their own country could be capable of this. Haven't you ever wondered how Hitler got away with what he did? How did he get the Germans to go along with it? Were they all evil or did most of them think the ones warning everyone were conspiracy theorists? I believe and history shows it was the latter.

Oohh the sky is falling, the sky is falling, our economy is going to collapse if we give healthcare to the masses. NOT our country is sitting on a gold mine of gargantuan proportions and its almost on the verge of legalizing it. Cannabis/Hemp will be a truly green revolution, along with alternative energies like wind and solar. Once the flood gates are opened wide, America will once again be the innovators. This healthcare reform and the money being invested in the human equation will be a minor footnote on the road to prosperity for all Americans.
We are on the road to energy independence; the SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

Odd, I don't recall Obama saying healthcare would be free, butI recall Obama saying that healthcare would be paid for. As in if you need health care you go to a hospital and the healthcare that you need is already paid for by taxes. This concept, by the way, is not what our forefathers were against. They were against taxation without representation. This would fall under taxation with representation and is necessary for any functioning form of government to provide service to the public.

jubal:
What I think is going to help our economy is placing stricter regulations on banks and businesses. Our economy has thrived when banks and businesses are tightly regulated because then banks and businesses cannot fuck over customers who are too stupid and greedy to prevent it themselves.
Lets take a look at what got our economy into this cluster fuck of a recession; balloon loans, frivolous corporate spending, and corporations giving contracted bonuses that are received even if the company looses money. The depression started because of similar reasons. Banks were not regulated in how they gave credit out. People ended up taking on credit that they couldn't pay, the banks were greedy for money and gave them credit loans that they should have known the people couldn't pay, and bankruptcy ensued.
Now, do I think that taxing people more during a recession is a good thing? In this case yes. Someone making minimum wage who has to pay a little extra in taxes to support health care is really going to be thankful in the event that they need medical treatment because most minimum wage jobs either don't have a health care plan for their employees or work a lot of their employees just enough hours to not qualify for the company plan. The people who have steady and secure jobs that pay well enough for them to comfortably live won't be taxed enough to have their lives negatively effected, and the upper class who is rich can stand to be bled a little bit.
If anything, this could be a great boost out of the recession by making it easier for people to pay expensive medical bills that they could otherwise not afford. Thus helping them avoid bankruptcy and further prolonging the recession.
By the way Ibrake4rappers, I liked your bible quotes and your George Washington quote. However, I found some information that trumps them. Have a nice day.

No more Adjustable Rate Mortgages - OUTLAWED
No more loans that don't include escrow accounts for taxes and insurance - OUTLAWED
No more penalties on people who have marginal credit scores (such as charging higher fees/points or making them buy down the interest rate "front loading") - OUTLAWED

Streamline the loan process and reduce the amount of paperwork.

Wow, slarabee you really do believe CNN, don't you? Momma told me to be careful about the uneducated and she was right. Try a little American History and you'll find out what this is about. It is your patriotic duty to dissent when your government attempt a tyrannical takeover. Check out Naomi Wolf's ten steps to tyranny. Study the Weimar Republic and you'll find Obama is nothing more than Hitler after speech lessons with a little charisma sprinkled in to really confuse the easily manipulated. And don't slam me with some Democratic diatribe on Republicans because George W. set the stage for Obama to make a clean sweep of tyranny. The World Bank and the corporations are pulling the strings in America now, not either party. Both parties have become completely criminalized and all of Obama's talk of change is change you don't want. This is mainstream now, it's those of you who deny it that are now the 'conspirators' or we like to call sheep.

unimatrix0 Congratulations, you have bought into every piece of propaganda fed to you over the years. You are a perfect specimen for the government. Easily misled and not likely to research and find out the truth. You are one of the truly lucky ones in the coming fall of our economy. You qualify for every government job available in the US. You are kept busy with silly division between the two parties so you'll pay no attention to Oz. What you say about divide and conquer is true. But let me ask you this. When we are all one big, "united-as-one" family against ruling elite, who will lead this family? When the revolution begins, who calls the shots? Some anti-abortion freak? Some redneck, racist asshole? Some other greedy, capitalist pig who just wants to take the place of "the man?" You?
You act as if these "divisions" are purely brought into existence by "the man" to keep us down. And surely, they are used by "the man," and very effectively. But those divisions remain and are real, nonetheless. I do oppose those at the top who try to enslave the rest of us, but I'm not all in favor of the "rest of us" either. I don't want some fucked up teabagger running the show any more than I want some Wall St. fuck running the show.
