Pfizer and Lilly lead a parade of U.S. companies that have paid $7 billion in penalties after promoting drugs for uses not approved by the FDA. This unlawful behavior may not end until prosecutors force a drugmaker into bankruptcy.

    • And we wonder why health care costs are so high the USA? Why many people need repeated visits to doctors and drug "treatments"? Doctors are just as guilty for not researching the effectiveness and usefulness of drugs they are prescribing and relying instead on untrained sales people to tell them what drugs to prescribe to patients.

      This article lays out the mentality of greed in the health care "industry" in this country, as it is geared towards the all mighty buck. People die so others can buy a nicer car.
