Collider could open hole to new dimensions

A top scientist working at the Large Hadron Collider has suggested that the giant machine could create a rift to new, unknown dimensions upon activation this month.

“Out of this door might come something, or we might send something to it,”

    • I am not so sure. When the time came to test the A-bomb in New Mexico, the generals asked the scientists what would happen. The answer was "oh about 50 50 we light the atmosphere on fire". The generals pondered that for a moment then said ok let's do it.
      Oh. It can happen.

    • Isn't this the same collider that a seagull dropped a bagel into a vent opening, causing it to overheat and have to be shut down? Whoa, that's a pretty frightening prospect. While I'm not a true believer in the religion of science, many benefits have come from research such as this, pending no abuse in attempts at making economic profit its priority.

    • Listen up idiots. This is a necessary procedure to educate at least some of us. As for it destroying the earth. I think the universe would lose very little if the earth was eaten up. Humans have been killing each other for thousands of years and there is no signs that it will ever ease up. So let the LHC go ahead and open up the unknown dimensions and find some of the secrets of our universe. Lightning and Atom bombs have not destroyed the earth to date and they were more powerful than the LHC.

    • It might also rape our earth women. No, seriously guys. We should be worried. I hear it also as a hunger for butt sex and a thirst for the tears of believers. Also, it's a secret Muslim. Booguddy wooguddy do.

    • I think that all we see and perceive in our world is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a lot going on in the same space where we stand.

Just like 100 years ago men didn't know about the microscopic world of atoms and viruses, 100 years from now we'll look back and admire at what we see that wasn't known at the beginning of 21st century.

    • It might also tear the fabric of space-time and consume us with a black hole. So far the black holes we've created have been too small to self-sustain, but this one might be different.
Hopefully that doesn't happen though because I would love to experience another universe or dimension of this universe before I'm 21.
