The Workbook Project is an open creative network and is trying to assist a global group of emerging creatives working in film, music, games, design and software. This year, the Workbook Project is launching its first ever Workbook Project Award. Here's how it works: You submit your feature film project to the Workbook Project Award. The final films get reviewed by a panel of well-established directors, producers, actors and film critics. Then, in Spring 2010, the top filmmaker will receive a one week theatrical run in L.A. complete with PR, street team and social media support, as well as a mentoring session with an established director and/or producer. Additionally, 20 films will receive a direct digital access package to help in their film's distribution. Winners will be announced at the Slamdance film festival in Park City in January 2010. Deadline for submissions is on Monday November 30th.
