IS ABORTION JUST A WOMEN DECISION OR BOTH, MAN & WOMEN

Then if the cell is a human the second it is fertilized, a woman is a natural mass murderer herself. Many fertilized eggs get flushed out of a woman's system with her period just because the timing isn't quite right.
Yes I am aware that I am more or less quoting George Carlin. I also indulge the idea that you cannot call it murder because it is not a conscious choice of the woman. So since it is incidental, we can bump it down to manslaughter.

I never said that miscarriages were murder. They are not causing it. Imperfect human bodies are doing it. It's like stating a heart attack is suicide.

Also, if you wouldn't mind I have a question to ask. Do your views on abortion originate mostly from faith in God and/or the Bible?

Is there some reason why God would make it so if an egg was fertilized by a sperm it could quite easily be flushed out with the monthly cycle.

God doesn't create imperfection so he didn't create anything like that.

J_Jammer:
God created Adam and Eve. He did not create the 7 billion that exist today. We are all byproducts of Adam and Eve's sin for not following simple instructions. Therefore every person born through means of birth on this here Earth were infected with imperfection and bodies that became worse as time marched on. The problems with the body isn't the fault of God. It's the fault of sin which was brought on by Adam and Eve because they selfishly chose to be something they were never meant to be.

But if God created everything, including Adam, Eve, and the tree of knowledge, then God should have been aware of how ingesting the fruit from the tree of knowledge would effect the biology of not only the first generation of humans, but all other generations that followed.

The tree was like any other tree. It was nothing special. It was a test and they failed. If you read the account Eve ate of the fruit first and what happened? NOTHING. When Adam ate of the fruit then something happened.
They caused it by their choice.

Correct me then if my understanding up to this point is wrong. God created Humans in a manner that if they strayed from him they would become imperfect beings and thusly become more flawed throughout the generations.

J_Jammer:
you can tell when someone cares to know something. You're starting to create doubt that you actually care.
You continue to inject what you believe in your questions and therefore answering as you see fit as you pretend to ask a question. Either you care to know or you don't. I'm doubting you care.
God created Adam and Eve. He said a single tree was not to be eaten from. A prideful angel decides he wants to be a god. He goes down and uses a snake to speak to Eve and convinces her to eat the fruit. She then convinces Adam. They get thrown out of the garden for disobeying God. There is moment where it seems that if Adam apologized for his wrong that the outcome would have been different....but he insisted that it was God's fault because He gave him Eve.
Out of the garden and without the protection they bore children with sin that they created themselves by their own actions.
Satan (the bad angel) stated that humans did not need God in order to rule. They could do it themselves. So that's what we have....humans doing it themselves.
God only creates perfection.
Adam and Eve had free will just like the angel and they decided to do what they wanted. Choice.
There is always a right and wrong answer. Gray areas are only for those that justify wrongs to feel right.

I did not know that the angel Lucifer was cast out of heaven for convincing Eve to eat from the forbidden tree and convincing her to convince Adam. I thought that Lucifer was cast out of heaven prior to the creation of existence for bringing war against God.
For your information, I did care about the information. I enjoy learning about the different teachings and/or mythologies of religions and cultures that are not my own. However, if you would like me to argue more and to do so directly instead of asking questions, be they directed or not, I can do that.
The whole idea of Adam and Eve can only be true if the Earth and all of existence is roughly six thousand years old. This concept has been disproven by science. Dinosaurs are also a contradiction not only of the age of the Earth and all of existence as presented in the bible, but it also would seem silly for the bible to exit out something as enormous as the rule and extinction of the dinosaurs. Let us also not forget that the Bible from which we get these stories of our history is also contradicted in the shape of the Earth and it's position in the Universe. According to the bible the Earth is is square, or at best rectangular, is immobile and is the center of the Universe.
Isaiah 11:12
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.Revelation 7:1
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.Psalm 104:5
He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.Ecclesiastes 1:5
The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. Was the Earth ever square, immobile and/or the center of the Universe? Then answer is no. The Bible is a book, written by man that does two things.
The first thing it tries to do is give us moral values. The problem is that moral values are subjective. In one culture, disfiguring the body could be a very bad thing. In another culture you would have people who stretch their necks and/or pierce just about everything on their face. Just about all human cultures on the planet deem that murder is wrong, be them people who follow the bible or people, people who follow another belief, or people who are just plain agnostic and/or atheist. The morals written in the Bible were meant to create universal morals for the time. The Bible says little about rape, and the Bible says nothing concrete about abortion. The best the Bible can do is tell us that life begins in the womb (Ah ha, the egg did come before the chicken!) and we can therefor assume that ending that life is murder. However, the Bible is making assumptions about science when it does so. And the Bible has a very bad track record when it makes assumptions about science.

Lucifer is not mentioned in the bible . That name has no existence via the bible.
Adam and Eve's existence has no barring on how old the Earth is. "Back in my day" is a clear use of the term day in a different context instead of a 24 hour period. It's a period of time that is not specific.
And you wondered why I questioned your care. You wanted to pounce like you just did in that post.
I really dislike having conversations about the bible with people that use talking points from websites instead of based on their own reading. And I mean the entire bible not just looking up the scriptures that the website told you to.

Though I wanted to pounce, I was more interested in the learning of popular mythology. The reason I chose to pounce was not because you asked, "Why do you care?" but because you put forth the impression of an accusation of my not caring. To learn what my incorrect assumptions are is an interesting process for me.
Moving onto the internet use of Bible verses as opposed to reading the whole bible, do you refute the biblical verses that I linked or do you propose a meaning to the verses that is different from what I implied when I pasted those verses?
Now to address the tattoos. So long as the tattoo heals correctly, it poses no significant damage to the sweat glands. If a tattoo does not sweat then it is either not done healing, or it did not heal correctly. And what about piercings?

There is a reason I don't delve into the Bible online and that is because it's never a discussion when someone is "interested" it's more of a firing squad.
The only way I'm going to do this is to if it's one by one.

I think a mans role in this is a minor one at best! After all the woman will have to live with the decision for nine months and beyond while a sperm donor can just move on.

Yes, but ultimately it is the woman's body that bears the child and sometimes her life is even risked. So if men can get pregnant, then its their ultimate decision. I do think that if the relationship is sound, there would not be a problem between the male and female. Its bad relationships and lack of similar values that cause men and women to go in different directions on pregnancy issues.

I do not disagree with any of the things you say. I am suggesting that some couples have relationships where the decision are made mutually. And in some situations there is only one person to make the decision. Some here are trying to make this into a power struggle between the male point of view and the female point of view. And when we say things like "only" and "always" it is as equally stubborn as the anti abortion people who say "never." I continue to think this is a situational decision.
