America's 1st Cannabis Cafe

Last Friday America's first legal cannabis cafe opened in Portland OR. The Cannabis Cafe is a registered business where individuals who process medical marijuana cards can come and smoke legally. Because it is still technically illegal to sell marijuana in Oregon, the drugs are "donated" to the cafe and customers simply pay a $25.00/month membership fee to take advantage of the cafe. Once inside, "budtenders" are available from 10am to 10pm with a steady supply of bud. The cafe also has food available in case you get the munchies.

    • For Real its not a real Cafe until you don't have to register with the state to smoke with friends. F_ _ K that business model.

    • I thought that video was great !! I've not seen anything like it before. Big bags of smoke? It's a good thing this is legal. They'd be a bit difficult to hide. Does everybody have their own; you do you say "please pass the bag?" If they hook that up to a hookah they might have something. That's just me, I guess. Seems to me it would be humourous to walk into a room full of people sucking on those big bags.

      I know that California has been ahead of Oregon when it comes to the Marijuana movement for a long time, but according to all the news papers, both local and national, it is the first, at least legal, Cannabis Cafe in the US. Just Google "America's first cannabis cafe". I've heard of cannabis vending machines in CA that take credit cards. That's even more amazing! Thanks for the comment!
