New over draft rate set to make our money problems worse.

apparantly for every day you're over drawn you will be charged at least £1 depending on the size of your over draft.
After purchasing goods at tesco's, the company did not take the money from my bank streight away, or even the next day, or even the day after that, nope. They waited until a week, when i was up to my over draft limit (already thinking that the money had been taken out) then they decided to take the £10 out, which put me over my overdraft and left me with a charge of over £50! after speaking to the bank, they agreed, as a gesture of goodwill, to write off the second charge (how lovely of them)
And the sickening thing is these banks create this money from thin air on the back of other people's debts and deposits, no wonder they make billions a year in profits.
Has anyone else had any interesting stories with their over drafts?
